The cost of this listing represents your first and last month's rent on the item/space

We take sellers from anywhere in the country

There are other spaces, wall spaces, glass cabinets and sometimes window shelves etc and they are different prices, please ask Ian for details.

There is a 20% discount on any space/shelf that is paid 12 months in advance.

Once a space has been agreed an account is set up and a subscription set to start after one months time

Once the first invoice is paid the rest are automatic until one of us cancels it

If it doesn’t work out for you all you need to do is give one months notice to leave, no contract, no upset, if it doesn’t work for you then it’s not working for us. 

We now operate a 1st and last system whereby you pay your first months rent in advance and your months notice in advance.

There is a 20% commission on top of the monthly rental. We do not take items on a commission only basis.

Local sellers are expected to keep their spaces clean and tidy, distance sellers have someone doing that every week or two when we are able

Sellers must have their own public liability insurance as ours does not cover sellers items. You only need to tell me you have this in hand, I am not required to see any documents.

If the ground opened up and swallowed the entire shop our insurance would only pay for the cost of a sellers items and not the retail price.

No one is insured for shop lifting, if it happens we all have no choice but to take it on the chin. We have had a couple of instances and do take it seriously.

Sellers must individually price their items and put their shelf number on each item clearly, there are no exceptions to this rule - if items are sent to the shop and they do not have either the shelf number and or price on each item, a charge of 50p per item for pricing and 50p per item for adding their shelf number. Please note this is not a service we wish to offer as it’s far too time consuming. The charge will be applied to the card on file. It is incredibly important that sellers price and add shelf numbers to their items.

Shelf numbers are how we pay our sellers. We pay out weekly between Sunday and Wednesday for the previous week. Sunday to Saturday is paid the next day Sunday, however I now tell people the payment will be made sometime between the Sunday and Thursday depending on how busy I am

If a seller is owed a payment and they have an outstanding invoice, their payment will be withheld until the invoice is settled, or knocked off their balance. I don’t like knocking rent payments off the monies I pay you it’s messy so please do keep your account up to date 

A seller is free to maximise their space and costs, for example, a seller can have their own leaflets or business cards on their space or if space allows on an item they can have a label with as many details as they wish, including but not limited to; web site, insta, Facebook details etc

There is a possibility of sellers having a full table for the day outside the shop, please see the sellers group for more details. This can sometimes be a very good earner. The space is free, you just tell people to pay in the shop which means you are not street trading as they pay in store plus they look at other items when they go in to pay

We guarantee shop opening hours of 10am to 5pm 5 days a week. Thus far we have managed 9am to 5pm 7 days a week, however that is not to be expected.

If a distance seller wishes to leave, they must still give the full months notice. We will package everything up and give the weight and sizes to the seller who must arrange for their own courier to pick up the stock and deliver it back to them or they must arrange for someone to collect their stock.

Referral Bonus

Each time you refer a customer that spends between £15 and £29 a month rental, you get £1 per month knocked off your rental /subscription

If your referral spends between £30 and £45 you get £2 per month knocked off your monthly rental and yes, it’s possible to refer a bunch of people and get your rental free
